Utilizing ROVs for IWS ensures we won’t interfere with your vessel’s loading and discharging operations. Direct physical contact with the vessel’s crew is unnecessary and with over 500 completed IWS without interruption, rest assured that inspections are carried out irrespective of challenges.
2. Strong Safety Focus and Certified by the Top 5 Classification Societies
Before each IWS, we establish meticulous routines to prevent unwanted incidents. Safety is paramount, and we conduct a “Job Safety Analysis” alongside the captain or representative from the shipping company before commencing the inspection. We review the GA- plan and the ROV pilot’s approach to the IWS. Our safety emphasis not only reflects VUVI’s values but also aligns with classification society requirements. VUVI is authorized to perform In-Water Inspections with ROVs by RINA, DNV-GL, Bureau Veritas, CSS, and Lloyd’s.
3. Real-Time HD Streaming and Seamless Remote Communication with ROV Pilot
We’ve pioneered a unique technology that allows us to livestream the entire IWS. This innovation can lead to substantial cost savings, as shipping company representatives can monitor the IWS via live stream from their offices instead of traveling to the site. This real-time access empowers informed decision-making and provides clients with exceptional insight into their vessel’s hull status. Direct communication with the ROV pilot is also facilitated throughout the inspection, ensuring that all questions and requests are addressed.
