Several factors may influence on a vessel’s service speed and fuel consumption. External factors like wind and sea state are given and will reflect on the speed, but marine growth on the propellers is another important factor that can contribute significantly negatively, and this factor can easily be removed to improve the vessels performance and attractiveness in the market.

VUVI has developed a method for efficient and safe (non-destructive) cleaning of propellers. Our experience is that the best results (speed/consumption) is achieved when we together develop a tailor made program for cleaning of the propellers on the actual vessel.
